Advanced Convener Training

About the Advanced Convener Training

This is an invite-only event that will bring together practitioners from at least 11 states for intensive best practice sharing. Invitations have only been extended to practitioners and state coaches who have actively convened/ co-convened or supported a network of partnerships for a minimum of at least 6-months.  The event will include guidance from some of the most advanced partnerships around the country. This is not a Next Gen 101. The day will focus on nuts-and-bolts tools like job descriptions, committee structures and fundraising, as well as deeper topics like sustainability, staffing, and intersections with apprenticeship and work-based learning activities. Conveners and coaches will return home with fresh ideas, best practices, and the tools needed to take partnerships to the next level.

A big thank you to our hosts, Cook County and the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership, for making this convening possible! Thanks also to the ongoing support of Next Gen Community of practice sponsors.

This page is your spot for registration, training details, lodging, and transportation options. We will also post the agenda and materials here. Stay tuned!
